The Jim Clemens CollectionThe late Jim Clemens of Worcester created a vast archive of steam archive films from 1959 to the end of steam traction on British Railways in 1968. The collection covers most of England, Scotland and Wales and is of a high standard of photography including very rare scenes. Jim was particularly interested in branch and secondary main lines and footage of many long closed railways can be seen in the collection. The films have been seen publicly over the years and continue to be shown by his son Mike Clemens. For the convenience of our customers, I have placed shortcuts to the corresponding B & R volumes in this section. |
